"Barry has been our son's guitar teacher for 5 years. I often sit and listen to Barry give the lesson and admire his patient and caring manner. He always praises the technique that has been captured and in progress of being mastered. More impressively, he manages to be supportive and not become frustrated even when his student is having a challenge. He often will play along either a rhythm part, a harmony part or a solo once his student has mastered a song. That creates some very special ensemble music with his students. He has taken our little acoustic guitar playing boy and helped him to mature into an electric guitar playing soloist who is playing in one of Barry's student bands.
